About the project

Summoned from the creative duo of artist Aaron K. and writer Darsha L. with vivid colors by Novi Octavia, Summoner embodies the best of isekai (transported to another world) genre staples with a bold new coming of age fantasy. The characters of Summoner not only battle ancient evils and a brutal bestiary of magical monsters but so too must confront relatable struggles such as living up to your family’s expectations, dealing with loss, and finding your true self. A one two punch of emotional drama and dynamic action across 24 episodes, Summoner is special for many reasons but will always hold a special place in my heart as the first original comic where I was honored to serve as both editor and narrative developer.
